BJ COLE with Vladimír Mišïk

In March BJ will be working in Prague recording a new album with renowned and legendary Czech singer Vladimír Mišík. Vladimír is a legend in the Czech Republic, banned by the Communists, and has always been perceived in the country as a symbol of freedom. After The Velvet Revolution in 1989 he served as an MP for 2 years. He opened for The Rolling Stones at their first ever gig in Prague in 1990.

YOVA release their critically acclaimed new second album ‘Dreamcatchers’ on March 1st. It Features 8 new tracks written by the duo plus a special cover of Darnell & Rogers 1951 blues classic ‘The Thrill Is Gone’ made famous by BB King in 1970. YOVA play LONDON The Troubadour on 25/10/23 in support of the release.

YOVA have announced their next live performance at the Troubadour club in Earls Court London on Wednesday October 25th. The duo will be joined on stage by Alex Thomas who is currently on tour drumming with John Cale and Anna Calvi. They will be playing tracks from their forthcoming album due for release in Spring 2024.

YOVA released their new single ‘Maybe’ on 23rd June via Believe Music on all digital platforms.

The track features the songwriting duo of Jova Radevska (vocals/lyrics) and Mark Vernon (baritone guitar) with special guest musicians Rob Ellis (string arrangements, keyboards), Daniel O’Sullivan (bass), Alex Thomas (drums), Anna Phoebe (violin) and Nick Holland (cello) A video directed by Philip Reinking and Tom Linton will be released in support of the track on July 7th

The duo are currently recording the follow up album to their critically acclaimed debut ’Nine Lives’ . Due for release in January 2024, guests will include Rob Ellis (PJ Harvey/ Marianne Faithfull), Alex Thomas (Anna Calvi/ John Cale), Daniel O’Sullivan (Grumbling Fur/ Tim Burgess), Terry Edwards (Tindersticks/ Nick Cave), James Sedwards (Thurston Moore Group), Anna Phoebe (Roxy Music) and the award winning Dutch/Australian contemporary music composer Kate Moore.
